First Visit

We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment, we will help your get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient's orthodontic needs are different, and we promise to give you the personal attention that you deserve. Your orthodontic visit will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of potential treatment options. This will help us determine the most appropriate treatment to address your orthodontic needs to determine if this is the proper time to begin treatment.

We know your time is valuable, so to expedite treatment, we may also reserve time following the exam for diagnostic records. The records include digital x-rays, photos and impressions for study models and are necessary for developing the appropriate treatment plan. We feel it is important to analyze each patient's specific needs, because in-depth planning leads to superior results and higher patient satisfaction.

After we have evaluated your records, we provide a treatment consultation with a detailed explanation of your orthodontic treatment. We insist that our patients leave the office with a clear understanding of their treatment options, the goals and time frame of treatment and a knowledge of their financial options. We encourage questions from both the patient and the parent, and as such we provide ample time to answer your questions.
